About Us

Welcome to the Los Angeles County Law Enforcement Trust.

We are an IRS-certified 501(c)(3) public benefit charity staffed entirely by volunteers. We were founded in September 2016 in Los Angeles with the goal of assisting the families of L.A. County peace officers killed or gravely injured in the line of duty.  We have working relationships with grief counselors who can provide a comprehensive support system. We can assist families in securing the various federal, state and union benefits to which they are entitled.  We can also provide pro bono legal consultation, accounting and financial management assistance. We stand ready to assist in any manner which will benefit the survivors of a Line Of Duty Death.

We are independent of any law enforcement organization.

Our IRS exemption number 814090527.  We are a GuideStar Silver-certified non-profit organization.

Thank you for visiting.
